Our Story

How We Got Here

We are a mother/daughter team with a combined 65 years professional art experience. Mom Trudi is a clay artisan and craftsman and daughter Megan is an ornamental welder and eCommerce artist. We enjoy flea marketing, repurposing, and we're all about the zhoosh.  In 2000, we opened the beloved Clayplace ceramic and creative arts studio. We closed our doors in 2010 to pursue new adventures knowing we weren't gone for good. 2018 found us ready for our next endeavor. An artist studio space that offers ceramic painting, art & craft workshops for adults and children, private craft parties and offsite programs. We also still participate in craft shows, farm markets and show our work in galleries. Our space is open to all who love to create and appreciate handmade!
